Family Cycling in Burlington, VT

There were lots of families out cycling in Burlington, but this family, with kiddoes racing around and Dad on the wheelchair bike bringing up the rear, brought a tearful smile to my face. That's the most beautiful bike I think I've ever seen.

There's a guy around here with a Big Dummy who rolls around town with his two kids sitting on the back.

The wheelchair wheels onto the bike? Wow. Do you have more pictures of this?

Pretty sweet!

You haven't been up in Burlington all this time have you? Not that there would be anything bad about that!

I love it. Is the person inthe wheelchair a child? I can't tell. Either way, it's so lovely I can't stand it.

WickedCold - I'm a big fan of the Big Dummy, though some friends of mine who had one ended up moving to a Yuba Mundo. Here's their Big Dummy in its moment of glory.

MamaVee - yes, the person in the wheelchair appeared to be a child. As far as I could tell it was one large very happy family.

dr2chase - Yes! The wheelchair seems to just roll right up. I got a couple other shots but this was certainly the clearest. I was in a restaurant having breakfast when they rolled by. Googling around I think it's probably a Velo Plus bicycle.

Cycler - no, I've been back in Boston. My posting cadence is off. Between the baby and being back at work...

( yeah the posting cadence is hard sometimes.... I'm in love with advanced posting and my latest few posts were all written like a week ago when I had a chunk of time. I just pummeled through. Now I need to write some more fast before I loose speed....)
